MATRIX™ ISR:
A MODULAR ISR PACKAGE FOR THE C-130
The MatriX ISR kit allows C-130 platform operators to easily convert C-130 cargo aircraft into effective ISR assets. Get more out of a smaller fleet with the ability to rapidly re-configure aircraft between mission and non-mission configurations with a palletized, modular and fully self-contained roll-on/roll-off kit.
The MatriX kit for the C-130 platform creates a highly effective platform for ISR operations while retaining the aircraft’s ability to support other operational roles. A complete mission system includes:
The console, turret mount, and replacement aft jump door are transported in a standard 10-foot International Organization for Standardization (ISO) shipping container and loaded onto the aircraft via a standard 463L pallet.
Unpacking the system and completing the installation requires less than 2 hours. De-installation takes a similar amount of time.
No permanent aircraft modifications are required to operate as an ISR asset. The system is fully self contained. Additional interfaces to aircraft systems are not required; with the exception of a single power feed.
Industry-leading WESCAM MX™-Series electro-optical / infrared (EO/IR)surveillance or targeting turret
The kit’s console provides mission operators with the ability to fully control the EO/IR turret as well as the ability to view and record the video. The embedded mission computer hosts leading mission execution packages that provide moving maps, advanced sensor automation and mission planning / reporting capabilities.

RASISR™
Rapid, Adaptable, Smart, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
RASISR delivers a groundbreaking capability and affordable approach for enhancing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), providing the flexibility to expand ISR capacity and accelerate capability delivery without significant aircraft modifications.
RASISR’s capacity hosts a range of sensors including L3Harris’ full-spectrum signals intelligence (SIGINT) capability that performs in both strategic (stand-off) and tactical missions against the most challenging adversary signal sets.
RASISR provides a low risk and expeditious means to keep pace with evolving requirements and capitalize on advancements in technology without aircraft upgrades, minimizing costs and avoiding aircraft downtime – new payloads can be continuously developed, tested and delivered to operational aircraft
RASISR can be operated remotely as a stand alone sensor without impacting transport missions or interfaced with other sensors such as EO/IR to provide rapid and accurate cueing. Different payloads provide flexibility to support different mission requirements.
Traditional low-density/high-demand ISR platforms cannot satisfy the increasing demand for high quality, persistent surveillance. RASISR enables C-130s to help cover shortfalls in ISR sensor coverage and contribute to ISR networks with an affordable and non-intrusive approach.

Degraded Visibility Landing System
The L3Harris Degraded Visibility Landing System (DVLS) enhances visibility and safety of rotary-and fixed-wing pilots landing in reduced visibility conditions due to weather, obstacles or obscurants such as dust brownouts.
DVLS uses navigational and sensor data sources to produce a real-time, augmented-reality displayed on a helmet-mounted, flip-down display for an accurate representation of the surrounding terrain and potential flight obstructions. It keeps pilots spatially oriented to the terrain and obstacles and works with existing night vision devices to enable safer landings.
Low-latency architecture and software: Our architecture optimizes the speed at which data is fused and delivered to the operator, which ensures accurate placement of symbols on real-world imagery, reduces blur and improves orientation awareness for pilots
Minimized geospatial jitter: The tight coupling of geospatial data with platform and HMD pointing information ensures symbols are accurate and locked to the underlying terrain features which improves pilot confidence and ability to land in degraded environments
Simple design: Our DVLS is modular. With only a few hardware elements, DVLS is easy to install, integrate and use. Auto-alignment and boresighting features ease pilot workload and speed time-to-flight
Streamlined landing zone placement: The system allows placement of preplanned and impromptu landing zones for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft
Automated cockpit mapping and alignment: DVLS uses navigational and sensor data allowing pilots to maintain situational awareness and visual flight cues, even in brownout conditions
